About Gabe

My name is Gabe and I live in Jerusalem and I like to take pictures. One night not long ago, a small white gecko wandered onto the outside screen of my bedroom window and lingered there for a while. I was transfixed. At the time I did not own a camera, but I vowed I would get one so that when the gecko returned I would be able to share its beautiful image with the world. Now I have that camera, and I will wait patiently until spring when I am sure I will see its curvy little form crossing my window again. In the meantime, here are some pictures of Israel.

Photography Equipment

I use a Canon PowerShot SX100 IS. At the moment my software consists of iPhoto and GraphicConverter, but one day I will have Photoshop. Then the revolution will come.

NOTE. The "calendar dates" associated with the images on this site are completely innacurate and should be ignored. Aminus3 only lets you post one pic for each calendar day; I tend to take many pictures on some days and none on others (is this unusual?) so I post them in whatever calendar slot is free. I started with September 7, 2006, one year before the day I arrived in Israel, and have continued chronologically. Enjoy.
